hy use Realtor John Carter?
I have the professional knowledge and experience to find you the home you've always dreamed of and can assist in answering your questions about Florida's first time homebuyer program or real estate in general.  Buying a home is a major investment.  Here is how I can help:

  • Negotiation Skills - Great real estate agents know how to negotiate.  I represent you and your interests in the negotiation of home price, anything that needs to be addressed after the home inspection, closing details and the like.  Using me as your real estate agent can mean saving thousands of dollars.
  • Experience - Looking for a home and getting through the closing process the first time can be incredibly intimidating. I have the experience to guide you through this process as well as the knowledge of neighborhoods, homes or condos on the market and properties coming on the market that will help you find the home of your dreams.
  • Resources. Finding a home inspector, termite inspector, an appraiser, and a mortgage broker all within the short time available during the home purchasing process can all be arduous and painful. I have contacts in all of these areas.

Of this I can assure you, no one will work harder for you.  Call me at (863) 529-7488 today to start your hunt for your dream home!

Owning a home really is the American Dream. Saving the money needed for the downpayment and closing costs is often the biggest obstacle.   If you are a first time homebuyer, the state of Florida may help you with down payment and closing costs and provide low cost, fixed rate mortgages.  Yes, thats right.  The goverment can help finance your first home.  Several different programs are available.   Of course, there are a few rules.   Eligible applicants include individuals who:

  • don't own their current home
  • don't claim their mobile home as real property
  • haven't owned a home within the past three years
  • have established credit worthiness
  • have an annual income that does not exceed program limits
